Founder and Tutor
Shea Matthews
Shea is a professional singer/songwriter who has written and performed in the music industry for over 20 years.
Throughout this time, Shea has also had an appreciable amount of experience working with young people and children. In particular those with an array of special needs ranging from autism, profound & multiple learning difficulties, physical disabilities, and social emotional and behavioural disorders.
Shea has recently been ignited by a passion to not only perform her talents, but to teach them, and the many lessons she’s learnt on her journey through vocal coaching and mentoring.
As co-founder of Expressive Sounds, Shea invites all types of people to benefit not only from the therapeutic effects that singing and music can provide, but also the joy that creativity and learning to use your voice can bring.

Hannah Beagley
Hannah Beagley is an actor and singer who has worked within theatre and music across the UK and abroad.
As well as being a performer, Hannah has experience in music composition and arrangement for theatre productions, projects and festivals, and has worked on youth programmes and lead choirs within Europe.

Hannah has a degree in criminal justice and probation studies, and has worked as a probation officer in adult services, courts, victim liaison and youth offending.

Hannah is the co-founder of Expressive Sounds and is excited to be able to use the skills she has acquired over her career to help others create something powerful and unique through music, whilst enhancing their wellbeing.
